As a Senior Proposition Analyst, you will support the vision and definition of the Protection Proposition, helping meet Protection’s ambition of being ‘3rd with flair’. You will contribute to the Protection Proposition roadmap, support decision making on backlog prioritisation and manage risks. You will make informed decisions about appropriate changes to the Protection Proposition and services, ensuring Protection Propositions continue to deliver good customer outcomes and remain competitive in what is a dynamic market. You will prepare papers for key committees to gain support for your insight lead recommendations; you will collaborate brilliantly across the business to deliver on your recommendations and report back on the impact made.

About the role

• Provide Protection Subject Matter expertise to support the Protection business to meet its OKRs
• Support the creation of the squad vision and drive the focus of this throughout the team environment.
• Responsible for recommendations made with regards to appropriate changes to features based on insight and market intelligence.
• Provide technical excellence in areas of responsibility, by maintaining a deep understanding in these areas, which will support prioritisation and decision making.
• Provide leadership to peers and wider delivery team by collaborating with others to deliver the right outcomes for the customer, business, and colleagues.
• A role model within the community and squad environment while consistently demonstrating Royal London values and behaviours.
• Taking an active role in risk management and demonstrating a strong understanding of the governance processes within the organisation.

About you

• Motivated with excellent attention to detail which drives a passion for delivering value to customers.
• Commercially astute with strong expertise in Protection products, processes, and markets, maintaining up to date knowledge, with a strong understanding of competitors’ propositions and strategies.
• A passion for ensuring all outcomes are in line with Consumer Duty, continually seeking ways of challenge and improving outcomes. 
• Excellent communicator who adopts a collaborative and commercial approach to work well with others, by building effective networks and influencing across all relevant business areas (e.g. GCS, GTC, Legal) and peers.
