Assistant Art Director, Beauty

JOB PURPOSE
Burberry is looking for a talented and enthusiastic assistant art director with a passion for creativity and producing high level content. In this posiiton you will be reporting into the Senior Art Director and you will support the Beauty Art Direction team in concepting and executing a wide range of creative fragrance and makeup briefs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Senior Art Director and Beauty team in conceptualising and delivering a diverse range of creative briefs, from research and ideation through to execution and post-production.
- Collaborate seamlessly across disciplines, including graphic design, digital, architecture, marketing, and production to shape and elevate beauty projects.
- Create and present conceptual documents that reflect the highest standards of craft and innovation, ensuring alignment with Burberry’s beauty vision.
- Push creative boundaries by challenging briefs and consistently seeking fresh, forward-thinking ideas that resonate with the luxury market.
- Engage confidently in presentations, sharing concepts with peers and senior stakeholders to inspire and influence.
- Maintain agility and precision, managing multiple briefs at pace while adapting to shifting priorities without compromising quality.
- Champion collaboration throughout the process, supporting the wider creative team and ensuring timelines are met across production and post-production stages.
- Stay ahead of the curve, remaining informed on luxury trends, digital innovation, and the evolving creative landscape to deliver ideas that embody Burberry Beauty at its most elevated.
PERSONAL PROFILE
- Proven experience in art direction, ideally within luxury, beauty, or fashion, with a strong understanding of both still and moving image.
- Exceptional creative and organisational ability, delivering innovative ideas while managing multiple projects at pace without compromising quality.
- Highly skilled communicator and presenter, with meticulous attention to detail and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Dynamic and collaborative mindset, self-motivated and passionate about bringing ideas to life through research and creative exploration.
- Deep awareness of current trends and digital innovation, ensuring concepts remain relevant and aligned with Burberry’s luxury aesthetic.
