Building Services Manager
PSR Solutions are working with a leading Tier 1 main contractor to recruit a Building Services Manager to support the delivery of several education and commercial projects across the London and surrounding regions.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Building Services professional to join an established project team, providing technical support and overseeing the building services elements across multiple schemes.
The successful individual will work closely with Project Managers, site teams and specialist M&E subcontractors, ensuring building services packages are properly coordinated, compliant and delivered to the required quality standards.
The role will initially support a number of education and commercial projects, with further schemes expected to come through the business.
The Role
The Building Services Manager will provide technical and operational support across multiple projects, with responsibilities including:
Supporting the management and coordination of mechanical, electrical and public health services.
Reviewing M&E designs, identifying potential issues and ensuring compliance with project specifications and requirements.
Providing input into pre-construction activities, tenders and technical submissions.
Working alongside Project Managers and site teams to ensure building services packages are effectively managed.
Monitoring M&E subcontractor performance, progress and quality of installation.
Attending design and coordination meetings with consultants, subcontractors and the wider project team.
Carrying out regular site inspections and ensuring works are completed to the required standards.
Monitoring commissioning programmes and overseeing the testing, commissioning and handover of building services installations.
Providing technical advice and support throughout the project lifecycle.
