Core Responsibilities
Instruct Sociology at GCSE and A-Level, facilitating debates on crime, deviance, family, and global social movements.
Cultivate students’ ability to construct sophisticated, evidence-based written arguments.
Contribute to the school's intercultural communication initiative, promoting social awareness and debate.
ECT Induction & Support
Assigned a formal induction lead to oversee your ECF progress and evidence gathering.
Subject-specific coaching focused on mastering high-stakes A-Level assessment and moderation.
1:1 "buddy" system with a recently qualified teacher for peer-to-peer support.
Requirements & Compensation
Essential: Must hold QTS and a relevant degree in Sociology or Social Sciences.
Salary: National Teachers' Pay Scale (M/UPS).
