£24,500 – £27,000 per annum (pro rata), depending on experience

Are you hard-working, organised, and personable, with a passion for working in a people-focused environment? We have an exciting opportunity to join our Finance team as a Credit Controller at Acacium Group!

In this fast-paced and rewarding role, you’ll be responsible for managing financial collections, resolving account queries, and ensuring timely payments. You’ll build and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of customers including Local Authorities and healthcare clients playing a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient account operations.

Collaboration is at the heart of this role. You’ll work closely with internal departments to resolve outstanding payment issues, support process improvements, and contribute to the overall success of the finance function.

Every day you will…

• Timely and effective collection of all debts and customers payments, maintaining contact with clients to ensure invoices are clear for payment and resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices.
• Handle disputed invoices and negotiating to bring payment within agreed terms.
• Respond promptly to both internal and external stakeholders
• Regularly contacting customers to ensure all relevant debts are managed as necessary and Issue customer statements; obtain customer remittances and assist with new account set up administration process.

To thrive in this role, you must ideally have…
