Associate Product Manager, Broadband In-life

BT Group
London

Closing Date: Sunday 30th November 2025

Location(s): Birmingham, Bristol, London and Manchester

Flexible Working

The BT group operates a 3 together, 2 wherever working model. This means you are required to be at your contractual location 3 days a week with 2 flexible days per week.

The Scope

The Associate Product Manager, Broadband In-life role is critical to ensuring BT’s broadband products deliver a reliable, high-quality experience for business customers. As connectivity becomes increasingly vital to business operations, effective in-life product management directly influences customer satisfaction, retention, and trust.

This position safeguards revenue by keeping products commercially fit, operationally smooth, and compliant with regulatory and market changes. You will support the implementation of BT’s product management vision and strategy, ensuring products continue to deliver value and evolve in line with customer and business needs.

What you’ll be doing

Design and maintain in-life product dashboards and reports, defining scope and approach for analytics projects across the broadband portfolio.

Analyse product performance and customer behaviour, selecting tools (e.g., SQL, Qlik) and visualisation techniques to deliver actionable insights and compelling data stories.

Act as subject matter expert for in-life broadband products, ensuring stability and supporting migrations to new technologies while balancing customer needs, commercial performance, and operational constraints.

Monitor product profitability and drive cost transformation initiatives, collaborating with functional teams to ensure impactful delivery.

Ensure regulatory compliance and manage product-related risks, determining when to escalate issues versus resolving through existing processes.

Engage stakeholders and suppliers to maintain service quality, navigate conflicting views, and provide data-driven recommendations to influence future product development.

Experience needed to be successful in the role

Some exposure to product management, ideally within a B2B technology or telecoms environment, with an understanding of in-life product support.

Previous experience of data analytics, including working with data sets, creating reports or dashboards, and basic knowledge of tools such as SQL or BI platforms.

Proven ability to support projects or change initiatives, such as migrations or process improvements, with guidance from senior team members.

Strong commercial awareness, including understanding cost drivers and how they impact product performance.

Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, service, finance) to deliver outcomes.

Familiarity with regulatory compliance and willingness to learn audit and governance processes.

Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
