Group Product Manager
What is Flagstone?
Flagstone is many things. An online savings platform, reinventing how individuals, businesses, and charities manage, protect, and grow their cash. A diverse group of people, bound by a collaborative spirit, and shared purpose. And lastly, a thriving, profitable business – where smart people do their best work.
Each definition shares a common thread: our unique culture. It’s our pride and joy. And our competitive advantage.
A feel for our culture:
To revolutionise the savings market, we need to be at our best. But high performance takes more than talent – it takes a culture of kindness, respect, and growth.
That’s why we’re building a diverse, inclusive community, where your voice is heard and valued. Where, with close support and room to develop, you can surpass even your own expectations. And be rewarded for it.
We may not change the world, but we can change the world of financial technology. And all it takes is a winning mix of drive, talent, and empathy. Our culture celebrates all three.
But enough about us. Let’s talk about you.
Does this sound like you?
Our Partnerships Tribe is one of our fastest growth engines. The tribe exists to expand referrals, assets and revenue through two routes: the advisors who refer clients to us, and the banks we partner with to hold their cash. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Group Product Manager to lead product strategy across three key areas: Advisor referral growth, Bank partnerships and Bank portal development. This role sits in the partnerships tribe, a small, growth-focused team responsible for expanding referrals, assets, and revenue through advisor relationships and bank partnerships. This position has significant revenue impact on the company and influences the path to exit.
What you’ll do:
You’ll own product strategy across the tribe, coordinating multiple products at different stages of development and translating customer and business needs into a clear roadmap. Day to day, that means three connected areas of focus:
• Advisor referral growth – working out how advisors refer more clients, and how more of those referrals convert through the funnel
• Bank partnerships – partnering with our sales-led team to turn new partnership wins into clear product requirements
• Bank portal refresh – understanding how our bank customers behave and using that insight to improve the portal they use every day
Beyond the products themselves, you’ll:
• Line manage and coach product managers, supporting their development and holding them accountable for high-quality outcomes
• Build and present the tribe’s roadmap to senior stakeholders
• Champion the end user in every decision, using research and data to identify problems before they become roadblocks
• Get hands-on where it counts – stepping in to support a squad directly when the work demands it – while stepping back to think and plan strategically
• Drive improvements to how the wider product team works, sharing what’s effective across squads
What you’ll bring:
• Several years’ experience as a Group Product Manager or similar related product leadership role.
• Experience managing or coaching other product managers, with a track record of helping them grow
• Confidence using data and customer research to shape product strategy and prioritise across competing demands
• A track record of building and communicating a multi-month roadmap to a range of stakeholders
• Comfort working in a partnerships, marketplace or B2B2C context, where you’re building for users you don’t sell to directly
• Strong facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to hold your own in a room with senior leadership
• Experience in financial services, savings or fintech
• Familiarity with referral or affiliate-style growth models
• Exposure to enterprise or B2B portal products
