We're working on behalf of a well-established Lloyd’s Syndicate who are seeking an Underwriting MI Analyst to join their growing operations team. This is a pivotal role responsible for delivering high-quality management information (MI) to support underwriting and operational performance across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to assist Underwriters with portfolio and performance management.
Create and analyse business data for internal reporting and external regulatory purposes (e.g. Lloyd’s PMD).
Collaborate with Underwriting, Operations, and IT teams to enhance the quality, transparency, and accessibility of reporting.
Support the development and delivery of the company’s data strategy, enabling business-wide MI self-service.
Contribute to best practices around Power BI usage, data governance, and regulatory compliance.
Help catalogue and manage key data assets for consistency and traceability.
What We’re Looking For:
Strong technical proficiency in Power BI, DAX, SQL, and Power Query.
Solid experience in data modelling, data visualisation, and reporting.
Understanding of Lloyd’s/London Market insurance practices and terminology.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
Knowledge of data governance principles and insurance systems (policy admin systems, bordereaux tools, etc.) is advantageous.
