Entry-Level Receptionist Assistant - EC2N

Join our client's Operations team as a Reception Assistant. This role is crucial in maintaining our reputation for exceptional service by ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and supporting the smooth operation of office functions.
Day-to-day of the role:- Answer incoming phone calls, redirecting or assisting callers as appropriate.
- Greet external clients warmly and provide refreshments as needed.
- Manage meeting room bookings and ensure rooms are set up correctly for meetings and cleared afterwards.
- Support the coordination of company social functions and business entertainment.
- Maintain kitchen and refreshment areas, ensuring they are well-stocked and tidy. This includes running the dishwasher and emptying bins as necessary.
- Assist with Health & Safety tasks, including serving as a designated first aider and fire officer, monitoring the currency of fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and defibrillators, and conducting daily office safety checks.
- Monitor stationery supplies and reorder as necessary.
- Manage post and provide administrative assistance to the Executive Committee and other ad-hoc tasks as required.
- GCSE English – level C or above.
- Must have some experience in an office
- Reception or public-facing experience is desirable but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to greet and assist guests and callers in a welcoming manner.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, especially in maintaining cleanliness and order.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team.
