Door Attendant - LondonWaldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch is seeking a Door Attendant to join the pre-opening team for this highly anticipated new luxury hotel opening later this year.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced luxury hospitality leader to join the founding team and help shape the guest experience at this landmark hotel.

Located at the end of The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace, Waldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch will feature 100 elegant rooms and suites and 17,500 sqft of private residences. The hotel will open with two signature restaurants - Coreus by Clare Smyth and Caf Boulud by Daniel Boulud - bringing together two of the world's most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs. Guests will also enjoy a world-class spa, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, and a collection of grand event spaces, including a ballroom for up to 320 guests.

We are looking for hospitality professionals who are passionate about delivering an exceptional fives star guest experience, consistently upholding the worldclass service standards recognised by Forbes.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

A Door Attendant serves as a gracious host and trusted first point of contact for our Guests-elegantly welcoming arrivals, facilitating seamless departures, parking vehicles with care and precision, overseeing the secure handling of luggage, and providing discreet, intuitive support throughout the Guest journey.

As a Door Attendant, you act as a vital liaison between Guests, the hotel, and internal departments. This role is instrumental in shaping lasting first impressions and therefore requires an impeccably polished, courteous, and professional presence at all times.

Responsibilities are performed to the highest luxury standards and include:

  • Upholding company brand and service standards at all times
  • Extending a warm and professional welcome to Guests upon arrival and assisting with luggage handling
  • Building rapport through regular engagement with returning Guests and visitors
  • Safely parking and retrieving Guest vehicles on hotel premises, as required
  • Providing a chauffeured driving service to Guests when requested
  • Ensuring hotel vehicles are maintained to impeccable standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation
  • Remaining fully informed of hotel services, VIP arrivals, and special events
  • Demonstrating strong knowledge of local landmarks, attractions, and points of interest
  • Consistently projecting professionalism, discretion, and genuine hospitality

What are we looking for?

A Door Attendant representing Hilton brands works at all times in the best interest of our Guests while collaborating seamlessly with fellow Team Members. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following attributes:

  • Prior experience within a luxury or ultra-luxury hospitality or service-led environment is highly desirable.
  • A valid driver's licence with no outstanding restrictions or infringements
  • Impeccable personal presentation and confident communication skills
  • A calm, courteous, and discreet demeanour, particularly in high-profile or fast-paced settings
  • Strong knowledge of the local area and wider region, preferred
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional service both independently and as part of a team
