We are working exclusively on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded firm to identify a technically strong and commercially minded Corporate Tax Director, with future potential to step into the Head of Tax role.

This is a critical leadership appointment, offering the opportunity to take ownership of an established and growing Corporate Tax function, contribute to firm-wide strategy, and play a central role in delivering high-quality, solutions-led advice to a diverse and growing client base.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified tax professional (ACA, CTA or equivalent) with significant experience across UK Corporate Tax compliance and advisory services. A strong understanding of international tax issues, group structuring, and transactional matters would be highly valued. You will be expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy, leading on complex client engagements, supporting business development efforts, and collaborating closely with partners and senior stakeholders across the firm.

This is a highly visible role with clear strategic importance. You will take responsibility for key client relationships, lead commercial proposals, and ensure consistent delivery of technically robust and commercially practical solutions. You will also play an integral role in mentoring junior team members, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team culture, and supporting the long-term development of the firm's tax offering.

While progression to Head of Tax is not immediate, this role offers a defined pathway to future leadership for the right individual. The successful candidate will be someone who combines strong technical expertise with sound commercial judgement, leadership capability, and a long-term view of their career.
