About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Head of IT in leading, managing, and developing the school's comprehensive ICT infrastructure, hardware, and software ecosystems.

• Oversee second-to-third-line technical support, ensuring seamless network reliability, cybersecurity, and data protection compliance.

• Lead the implementation of innovative digital teaching and learning tools to enhance classroom engagement and streamline administrative workflows.

• Mentor, guide, and collaborate with the wider IT support team to maintain high operational standards and service delivery.

Requirements

• Proven experience in an advanced IT support, network management, or deputy leadership role—ideally within an education or secondary school setting.

• Extensive technical expertise in network administration, server management (Windows/Cloud), cybersecurity, and educational software packages (e.g., MIS, Office 365, Google Workspace for Education).

• Strong leadership or mentoring capabilities, with a track record of supporting team members and managing complex technical projects.
