Senior HR Advisor
We are seeking an experienced and people-focused Senior HR Advisor to join a leading law firm on a 12 month fixed term contract.
This is a hands-on, generalist HR position, where you will be the Business Partner supporting the secretarial population across the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and development through to performance management and offboarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full employee lifecycle supporting all HR processes such as salary and bonus reviews, return-to-work management, and organisational change, while maintaining strong stakeholder communication.
- Partner with and coach managers and employees to improve capabilities, identifying training gaps and leading on learning initiatives.
- Provide expert advice on complex employee relations matters, including performance management, conduct, absence/sickness, disciplinaries, grievances and redundancy cases, ensuring legally compliant outcomes.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues and business leaders to drive talent initiatives, including recruitment, career frameworks, and employee experience, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Support on firm-wide HR initiatives as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven HR Generalist/Advisor experience in a business facing role ideally within legal or professional services.
- Experience in managing end to end complex employee relations cases with a strong understanding of employment law and best practice.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong, trusted relationships and work collaboratively across teams.
Hybrid working available 2-3 days in the City of London.
