Skills & competencies

  • Ability to design and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns for the Banking segment by creating a structured calendar, adapting messaging and content, and connecting diverse campaign elements into a cohesive approach aligned with Moody’s overall marketing objectives.
  • Exceptional collaboration and relationship-building skills, partnering with internal teams across product, sales, marketing, and subject matter experts to align campaign goals and ensure Banking-specific priorities are addressed.
  • Content development and editorial judgment, overseeing the creation and adaptation of impactful materials such as white papers, blogs, webinars, and case studies relevant to Banking clients while maintaining Moody’s brand standards.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a portfolio of B2B-focused content (both long and short-form).
  • Strong marcom skills and creative flair with an ability to guide the branding team to deliver assets that are engaging and impactful
  • Strong grasp of artificial intelligence concepts, with the ability to guide teams in applying AI tools to streamline workflows, uncover insights, and boost marketing efficiency.
  • Curious and forward-thinking mindset, with a passion for exploring AI systems and a commitment to learning responsible AI practices - including risk management, ethical use, and transparency.
  • Curious and informed about Banking industry trends, proactively identifying emerging client needs and competitive dynamics to keep campaigns fresh, timely, and differentiated.

Education 

  • BA in journalism, English, communications, marketing, finance or related field required. Advanced degree preferred. 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5–7 years of experience in B2B marketing, with a focus on campaign management, content development and marcom/creating assets
  • Strong understanding of the Banking industry, including its challenges, opportunities, and regulatory landscape.
  • Experience designing integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in financial services/banking/KYC, technology, or data and analytics firms.
  • Familiarity with AI tools
  • Strong writing and editing skills with an ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

About the team 

Moody’s is seeking an experienced and collaborative marketing professional to join our dynamic team as Assistant Director, Marketing Campaigns, Banking. Reporting to the Director, Content & Campaigns, this role will work across multiple internal segment teams to ensure content and campaigns are tailored to align with the needs of Banking clients.

This is a high-visibility, cross-functional role that demands a deep understanding of the Banking industry, including sector trends and regulatory changes, exceptional communication and organisational skills, and the ability to synthesize complex inputs into impactful campaigns.

Our Banking Marketing team is responsible for defining and communicating the go-to-market strategy for Moody’s banking segment solutions. This work generates qualified leads that produces revenue and ultimately helps drive the continual growth of the segment
