Editorial Assistant
Role: Editorial Assistant
Location: London (hybrid)
Assist and support the editorial team by providing quality assurance for product outputs, by processing of post-content creation tests and data generation, and by supporting the editorial procedures that occur in the wider editorial team and during content creation.
Main Accountabilities:
To undertake routine checking procedures involved in production of products, including proof reading and other tasks relevant to the quality assurance of the product outputs
To undertake, as directed, the processes involved in the creation and compilation of products
To undertake the collection and assembly of data to support content creation, to assist in the content creation process where needed
To process correspondence and when appropriate, respond to correspondence with relevant stakeholders
To assist in the timely delivery of content by contributing to the content creation process, where appropriate.
To provide general administrative support for the whole team.
The Candidate Profile:
A further education qualification in physical or life sciences, or other appropriate qualification
Meticulous eye for detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
Experience in the use of computers and searching of academic databases and data collection
High efficiency working within a team and individually
Ideally experience of HTML and/or XML

We independently source, evaluate, and communicate and make practical medicines knowledge accessible worldwide. In the Publishing Directorate, the following teams work collaboratively to provide our world-class products: the Journals team; the Sales and Marketing team (in which this role sits); the Technology team; the Product team and the Editorial team.
The Team
You would be joining a marketing team of five others, who strive to grow global brand awareness as well as lead generation. We have a collaborative approach within not just the marketing team but the sales team too.
How we are currently working
PHP supports and works in a hybrid way, which means you will be able to work from home, however, there will be an expectation for collaborative face-to-face working – on average and typically this may be something between 4-8 working days per month at our London Office.
