About the Role

As a Graduate Maths Tutor, you will play a key role in supporting students’ academic development and confidence in Mathematics. Working closely with experienced Maths teachers, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Providing targeted 1:1 and small group interventions to students across KS3 and KS4.
• Supporting pupils who need additional help with core mathematical concepts.
• Assisting teachers during lessons to ensure students remain engaged and supported.
• Delivering structured intervention sessions to boost attainment and exam readiness.
• Monitoring student progress and contributing to feedback and assessment where appropriate.
• Helping to create a positive and focused learning environment within the Maths department.

This is a hands-on, rewarding role that offers an authentic insight into teaching and life in a secondary school.

Who We’re Looking For

• A 2:1 degree or above in Mathematics or a closely related subject.
• A genuine enthusiasm for education and a strong desire to work with young people.
• Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A professional, proactive, and committed approach.
• Previous school-based experience is welcome but not essential.
