Pastry Chef de Partie - Hospitality & Fine Dining
Location: Canary Wharf
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (40 hours per week)
Pay: £16.48 per hour
You will be responsible for running the pastry section, preparing high-quality desserts, breads, and other baked goods to a professional standard. Working closely with the culinary team, you’ll help maintain the high standards of our fine dining establishment while developing your pastry skills further. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the pastry section to a high standard
- Produce a variety of desserts, breads, and pastries consistently and creatively
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and food safety standards within the pastry area
- Support and guide junior pastry staff as needed
- At least 1 year of experience in a pastry role within a high-standard hospitality or fine dining kitchen
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and baking fundamentals
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Passion for creativity in pastry and desserts
- Monday to Friday shifts only—no evenings or weekends
