Job description

A leading international law firm is seeing a junior to mid-level associate to join their highly regarded corporate and private equity team based in London. This role offers exposure to complex, cross-border, and high-profile transactions for a diverse client base, including major corporations, funds, and financial institutions. You’ll work within a collaborative environment that values initiative, professionalism, and adaptability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on corporate M&A and private equity transactions, including sponsor-side deals.
• Draft and negotiate equity documents and related agreements.
• Support on transitional services agreements and ancillary matters.
• Collaborate with colleagues across multiple jurisdictions on cross-border deals.
• Build strong client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.

Skills & Experience:

• Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales).
• Significant experience in private equity transactions, ideally with sponsor-side exposure.
• Strong background in corporate M&A; ECM and public M&A experience is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a close-knit team and manage client interactions confidently.
• Commercial outlook and proactive approach to networking and business development.

Education:

• Degree from a reputable institution with a minimum 2:1 or equivalent.
