Dental Lab Manager
An established and highly respected dental laboratory in North London is looking to recruit an experienced Dental Laboratory Manager to lead its operations and ensure the highest standards of quality, efficiency and customer service.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong technical background in dental technology, excellent leadership skills and a thorough understanding of implant workflows. You will play a key role in managing the day-to-day running of the laboratory, supporting the team and driving continuous improvements across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy dental laboratory.
- Manage workflow to ensure cases are completed accurately and delivered on schedule.
- Lead, motivate and develop the laboratory team to achieve consistently high standards.
- Implement and maintain robust quality control procedures across all departments.
- Monitor productivity, turnaround times and operational performance.
- Work closely with technicians to resolve technical queries and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Ensure implant cases are managed to the highest clinical and technical standards.
- Liaise with dentists and clients, providing a professional and responsive service.
- Identify opportunities to improve laboratory processes, productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant quality standards, laboratory procedures and industry regulations.
- Assist with recruitment, training and performance management where required.
Requirements
- Previous experience managing or supervising within a dental laboratory.
- Strong knowledge of dental laboratory workflows and production planning.
- Essential: Excellent understanding of implant restorations and implant systems.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
- Strong quality control experience with exceptional attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Commercial awareness with a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Passion for delivering outstanding service and continually improving laboratory performance.
