Job Description
Senior Manager Energy Economics.
The Successful Applicant
He suitable applicant will have:
- Significant experience in energy economics, investment, markets, modelling, policy or regulation, gained in consulting, government, industry, a regulator or an investment environment
- Strong knowledge of energy markets and the transition to net zero, ideally spanning investment drivers, market design, infrastructure, low-carbon technologies or regulatory frameworks
- A strong grounding in microeconomics and the ability to apply economic concepts to practical policy, regulatory and commercial questions
- Experience leading substantial projects or workstreams, managing teams, budgets, risks, dependencies and senior stakeholders
- A track record of building trusted relationships and contributing to business development, account growth or proposition development
- A postgraduate qualification in economics or a related quantitative discipline is preferred, although equivalent professional experience will be considered. UK or international experience of energy markets and regulation is welcomed.
What’s on Offer
- Permanent Senior Manager Energy Economics position in London.
- Salary of £75,000 to £110,000, dependent on the level of experience, plus car allowance, bonus and benefits
