RE teacher- Wonderful school in Haringey- September start
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced RE Teacher to join a wonderful school in Haringey, starting in September. In this role, you will have the opportunity to teach Religious Education (RE) to primary or secondary students, depending on your experience and expertise. As an RE Teacher, you will play a vital role in nurturing the spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development of students, while promoting a deep understanding and respect for various religions and beliefs.

Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging RE lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters respect for different religious beliefs.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support to ensure their academic growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behaviour, and achievement.
- Attend parent-teacher meetings and provide regular communication to parents/guardians regarding student progress.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated with educational developments.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience as an RE Teacher, preferably within a primary or secondary school setting.
- In-depth knowledge of religious education, religious beliefs, and values.
- Familiarity with the national curriculum guidelines for RE.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
- Excellent classroom management skills to create a positive and conducive learning environment.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and keeping updated with latest teaching methodologies and practices.
