Pharmacy Distributions Coordinator
Location: Cromwell Hospital, 164-178 Cromwell Road, London SW5 0TU
Hours: 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with one Saturday per month, 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and one late shift per month until 8:00 p.m.
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £27,000 per annum + fantastic Bupa benefits
Closing Date: Sunday 7th September 2025 (may close earlier dependant on volume of applications)

The Cromwell Hospital is a major private hospital in West London providing outpatient and Inpatient service. The hospital has 180 beds and 4 suites, 6 theatres, level 2 and 3 full intensive care facilities, paediatrics, diagnostic services, physiotherapy, a dedicated day surgery unit, and private GP services

How you'll help us make health happen:
As a Pharmacy Distributions Coordinator, you will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth and efficient distribution of stock drugs, fluids, and refills across wards, theatres, and clinical departments. Your work will directly impact patient care by ensuring timely and accurate delivery of essential medicines and supplies.
What you'll do:
- Coordinating the distribution of stock drugs and fluids throughout the hospital.
- Ensuring Pyxis systems are accurately refilled and maintained.
- Supporting stock rotation and minimising wastage.
- Assisting in service improvement initiatives and quality audits.
- Collaborating with pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to maintain high standards of care.
- Participating in rota planning, training, and departmental meetings.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
- Qualified or working towards: NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent, with evidence of continuing professional development.
- Previous experience in a hospital pharmacy distribution role.
- Competent in IT systems, safe handling of medicines, and familiar with Pyxis automation and Ascribe.
- A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, organised, and proactive in problem-solving.
- Enthusiastic, flexible, and confident with a passion for learning and development.
