The Role
We are seeking an experienced Deputy Contract Director to join our leadership team in London, supporting the operational management of one of our largest healthcare contracts. This is a hands-on role for a driven professional with a strong background in soft FM operational management within healthcare. You will work closely with the Contract Director to ensure the delivery of high-quality services, compliance with healthcare standards, and a focus on patient-centered outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Support the operational delivery of cleaning, catering, and patient experience services across the contract
Lead, coach, and develop on-site teams to ensure excellent performance and staff engagement
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, infection prevention standards, and Medirest policies
Monitor operational and financial performance, driving efficiency and continuous improvement
Foster strong relationships with NHS Trust stakeholders and internal teams
Implement innovative solutions to enhance patient, staff, and visitor experience
About You
Proven experience in operational management within a healthcare soft FM environment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire large, multidisciplinary teams
Knowledge of healthcare compliance, infection prevention, and NHS service requirements
Commercially minded with experience supporting contract performance and budget management
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
