School Business Manager - Greenwich - Independent School
Position Overview:
An independent school in Greenwich is seeking a dynamic and highly organised School Business Manager to commence January 2026. This is a key role within the senior leadership team, responsible for the financial and operational management of the school.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all financial aspects, including budgeting, reporting, and forecasting
- Oversee HR, including recruitment, payroll, and staff wellbeing
- Ensure compliance with statutory and safeguarding regulations
- Provide strategic input to the Headteacher and Governors
- Support the school’s operational and administrative systems
Skills and Experience:
- Proven SBM or senior management experience in schools
- Strong financial, administrative, and HR management skills
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills
- Proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple projects
