Weekend Nanny

A warm, high-profile family relocating from the U.S. to Notting Hill are seeking a kind, proactive weekend nanny to care for their bright 3-year-old son (B3). The household also includes two older sisters (ages 8 and 9) who attend school full-time and do not require regular care. The role focuses solely on B3, who is lively, imaginative, and enjoys exploring the world around him through play, routine, and gentle structure.
The family are looking for someone who combines calm confidence, warmth, and creativity – a nanny who can plan enriching weekends filled with curiosity, play, and clear, consistent boundaries.

The role will run from the start of January until the start of September - 9 months in total.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide attentive, nurturing care for B3 throughout the weekend
• Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate activities and outings around London
• Organise visits to local parks, museums, and play spaces
• Prepare healthy, child-friendly meals and snacks
• Support nap and bedtime routines with consistency and care
• Encourage confidence, curiosity, and independence through play and conversation
• Maintain a calm, organised environment and provide clear daily updates to parents

About You
• Experienced in caring for toddlers and supporting their developmental stages
• Naturally warm, confident, and engaging with young children
• Knowledge or experience working with SEN or neurodiverse children is highly desirable
• Patient, dependable, and able to provide calm, structured guidance
• Organised, proactive, and confident planning weekend routines
• Professional and discreet, with a reassuring presence
• Enhanced DBS and Paediatric First Aid required (or willingness to obtain)
• Right to work in the UK and strong recent references
• Bonus: Driving licence and willingness to drive (optional)
