• You'll be designing and delivering engaging Biology lessons, primarily across Key Stage 5 (A-level), and supporting Key Stage 3 & 4 Science.
• As Second in Department, you will support the Head of Science, assist with curriculum planning, assessment, and staff development, particularly for Biology.
• It's about fostering rigorous scientific inquiry, encouraging practical experimentation, and developing students' analytical and problem-solving skills.

What we're looking for:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Biology.
• Proven experience teaching Biology effectively at Key Stage 5 (A-level), and broader Science at Key Stages 3 & 4.
• Demonstrable leadership experience or a clear readiness to step into a Second in Department role.
• A deep and current understanding of the Biology curriculum, excellent laboratory skills, and a commitment to innovative teaching methods.
• Strong communication skills, effective classroom management, and a genuine ability to inspire scientific curiosity.
