Platform Engineer

Well this company offers all of that and more... You would be working for a specialist, highly-respected DevOps consultancy with opportunities across a variety of projects. You'd join as part of the Platform Engineering team, known as the company's centre of excellence. You would have opportunities to work on a range of complex DevOps projects using state of the art technologies at scale. Working at this scale will massively improve your skillset, allowing you to transfer the learnings onto any DevOps project. The company is currently working on the largest Kubernetes implementations in the UK, using 50,000 pods. There are multiple opportunities to gain exposure working in different cloud environments and writing everything in code. This gives you the ability to make a real impact on large scale digital transformation projects, revolutionsing clients IT output. In order to be considered for this role you must be working in a cloud based environment (AWS, Azure and GCP) provisioning the infrastructure as code, using tools such as Terraform, Arm template or Cloudformation and building CI/CD pipelines out from scratch with either: jenkins, TeamCity or CircleCi. Ideally you will also have experience working with containers and orchestration tools. You would have a career coach from day one, mapping out your progression pathway and setting you clear targets to achieve your goals. On top of this, you would have access to an extensive training budget, allowing you to learn new technologies and complete certifications like the CKA.
