Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and well-structured Design & Technology lessons to students in accordance with the curriculum standards.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student growth and development.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Assess individual student progress through regular formative and summative assessments.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their learning journey.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and student interventions.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behaviour, and academic performance.
Requirements
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent in the UK.
- Proven experience teaching Design & Technology in a primary or secondary school setting.
- Sound knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Strong ability to engage and inspire students through creative teaching methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to effectively plan and deliver lessons.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with industry advancements.
