We are currently seeking a diligent Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming school in Haringey, North London starting in September 2024. Year 1 Teacher Responsibilities
· Create and implement lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and school guidelines
· Deliver engaging and effective instruction to Year 1 students, promoting active participation and academic growth
· Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to cater to different learning styles
· Provide constructive feedback and support to students to enhance their learning experiences
· Create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
· Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs
· Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and development
Year 1 Teacher Requirements
· Hold a relevant teaching qualification and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
· Proven experience in teaching Year 1 students, including knowledge of the national curriculum
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, colleagues, and parents
· Strong organizational and administrative abilities to manage lesson planning, assessments, and reporting
· Passionate about education and dedicated to fostering a love for learning in young students
· Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement
· Flexibility and adaptability to meet the individual needs of students and respond to changes in the educational environment
