Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of the London audit practice, building a client base and expanding the firm's audit offering in the region.
- Drive business development activities, identifying opportunities for growth and actively seeking out new clients.
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality audit engagements across a range of sectors, ensuring compliance with UK audit standards and client expectations.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key clients, becoming a trusted advisor to Boards, Audit Committees, and senior management teams.
- Recruit, manage, and mentor a team of audit professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous development.
- Work closely with other partners across the firm to align business objectives and ensure a unified approach to service delivery.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in audit regulations and industry developments, ensuring the firm's audit practice is compliant and forward-thinking.
Qualifications/Experience Required:
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with Responsible Individual (RI) status.
- Demonstrable experience at Partner or Director RI level within an audit practice, ideally with a focus on business development and growth.
- Strong business development skills, with a proven ability to win new clients and grow an audit portfolio.
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
- In-depth technical knowledge of UK audit regulations, including ISA (UK) and relevant industry standards.
- Outstanding communication skills, with experience engaging at the highest levels of client organisations.
- A strategic, entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to grow a successful audit division from the ground up.
