Job Title: Learning Support Assistant - KS1 - Islington - Immediate Start

About the Role:

• Full-time Learning Support Assistant position in a KS1 classroom
• Learning Support Assistant will support a child with additional needs on a 1:1 basis
• Duties include helping with core literacy and numeracy, as well as social and emotional development
• Learning Support Assistant will collaborate with the class teacher and SENCo to follow tailored learning plans
• This role runs until July 2025, with scope for continuation based on performance

Ideal Learning Support Assistant Profile:

• SEN experience is essential, particularly supporting pupils in KS1
• Previous primary TA experience highly desirable
• Learning Support Assistant must be patient, reliable, and proactive

• A positive team-player who builds strong relationships with children and staff
