Account Manager
Hasbro SA, based in Delemont Switzerland, manufactures and sells Hasbro toy and games products around the world. Hasbro European Trading BV ('HET') is Hasbro SA’s distributor in Europe, which sells to Hasbro SA’s customers in all major European countries. Hasbro International Trading BV ('HIT') is Hasbro SA's distributor for Direct/FOB sales in Europe. Hasbro UK Ltd ('the Company') provides sales, marketing and other services to HET and HIT in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Hasbro is seeking an Account Manager to join our team at our Stockley Park, West London office.
This role offers a unique blend of strategic planning, customer interaction, and market analysis, making it perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve Sales and Profit Targets: Drive the success of HET/HIT by meeting set sales and profit goals.
- Collaborative Account Management: Work closely with your team to maintain and grow key accounts, ensuring long-term business success.
- Customer Engagement: Regularly visit customers, conduct business planning and reviews, and ensure in-store implementation of Hasbro products and promotions.
- Market Monitoring: Keep a close eye on market activities across retail stores to stay ahead of trends and opportunities.
- Sales Maximization: Influence accounts to maximize sales orders across the full product portfolio, achieving profitability targets.
- Business Planning: Develop and implement approved business plans, review progress quarterly, and lead presentations at trade shows.
- Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with buyers and manage JMA budgets effectively.
- Brand Portfolio Management: Take charge of a key portion of the brand portfolio, handling all account matters and day-to-day issues.
Performance Indicators:
- Customer Relationships: Build and develop strong business relationships with key customers.
- Sales and Market Share: Achieve turnover, market share, and distribution targets.
- Profitability: Ensure customer profitability and accurate forecasting.
Financial Impact:
- Sales Objectives: Meet yearly sales objectives for both the business unit and HIT customers.
- Budget Control: Manage customer allowances and investment budgets.
Planning and Control:
- Strategic Planning: Support the development of country, channel, and customer plans.
- Forecasting and Execution: Manage customer sales forecasts and execute new product launches.
- Partnerships: Develop and manage partnerships with licensor partners and retail marketing teams.
- Investment Recommendations: Recommend customer investments within predefined budgets.
- Order Management: Monitor orders, invoices, and deliveries to ensure stock availability.
- Compliance: Complete all required SOX documentation and maintain accurate records.
Customer Relations:
- Business Plan Development: Create and manage customer business plans.
- Market Analysis: Conduct a detailed analysis of customer development and market activities.
- Opportunity Identification: Identify new customer opportunities and implement approved promotions.
- Product Launches: Strategize and implement new product launches.
Experience and Skills Required:
- Sales and Account Management: Proven experience in sales and account management, preferably in the toy or entertainment industry.
- Customer Relationship Management: Strong skills in building and maintaining customer relationships.
- Market Analysis: Ability to monitor and analyze market activities and trends.
- Strategic Planning: Experience in developing and implementing business plans.
- Budget Management: Proficiency in managing budgets and financial targets.
- Communication and Presentation: Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively within a team to achieve common goals.
