Freelance Garment Technologist
• Responsible for measurement specification development and maintenance.
• Driving fit and construction changes, updating sample comments and feedback, checking measurements, construction, finishings, materials, and suitability for production according to requirements.
• Responsible for translating design into Technical Package, ensuring it is production friendly.
• Provide technical support regarding materials and sustainability topics during product development by checking development samples construction and fitting. Experience • Minimum 10 years experience in garment technology or product development
• Experience creating fit blocks
• Luxury quality experience beneficial
• Clear communicator, able to communicate to suppliers to achieve desired results.
• Problem solving fit/fabric/trim challenges
• Strong background in global garment manufacturing
