Job Summary
A private family is seeking an experienced, warm and proactive Full-Time Nanny to care for their two young daughters, who will be approximately 8 months and 2 years old in January 2027.
The successful candidate will be confident providing attentive, sole-charge care for two children at different developmental stages, supporting the younger baby's feeding and sleeping routines while encouraging the older child's learning, independence and social development.
This role would suit an energetic and organised nanny who enjoys planning engaging activities, understands the needs of babies and toddlers, and can work collaboratively with the parents and potentially another nanny.
A confident driver is essential, with use of the family’s automatic car when required.
Main Responsibilities
Providing attentive, sole-charge care for both children as required.
Supporting the younger baby's feeding, sleeping and developmental routines.
Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities for both children.
Supporting the older child's nursery routine, including preparation and collection where required.
Encouraging early learning, play, reading and social development.
Managing the children's meals, laundry and nursery belongings.
Maintaining a safe, tidy and stimulating environment for the children.
Communicating effectively with both parents and keeping them updated on the children's progress.
Driving when required, using the family's automatic car.
Candidate Specification
The ideal candidate will:
Have a minimum of 3 years' professional experience in a similar role.
Have strong professional nanny experience with babies and toddlers.
Be confident caring for two children of different ages.
Have an excellent understanding of infant care and early childhood development.
Be warm, engaging, energetic and proactive.
Be able to plan stimulating activities rather than relying solely on routine supervision.
Be organised, reliable and communicative.
Be a confident driver with a full, valid driving licence.
Ideally be based locally or within a reasonable commute of Queen’s Park / Kensal Rise, London.
Be comfortable working collaboratively with parents and potentially another nanny.
Have excellent checkable references and a valid DBS.
Have the correct right to work documentation for the UK.
