Business Analyst - 2 Year FTC

You will report to the Head of Risk Transformation and play a key role in identifying and documenting risk requirements that support our transformation goals, using SmartestEnergy’s wider technology architecture.


What skills/experience do I need to be successful?

• Substantial demonstrable experience in a similar Business Analyst role with direct exposure to ETRM processes;
• Applied technical understanding of new data centric solutions based on Power BI, Python, Azure and SQL;
• ETRM expertise, preferably based on Allegro, with an applied understanding of deal lifecycle and risk management processe;
• Knowledge / appreciation of the pivotal role that Risk Management plays in wholesale energy markets, retail supply offtake and regional sales markets;
• Solid understanding of design practices, system architecture and conducting code reviews.

Hybrid working typically means 2 days in the office location listed on this advert and 3 days working at home each week. Some occasional travel to our other offices may be required.
