Social Media Coordinator

Glassworks
Central London

Founded in London in 2010, Glassworks is a fresh, totally independent fashion brand, style-obsessed and passionate about both bricks-and-mortar boutiques and streamlined digital shopping. Our stores and website drop small runs of completely new fashion every week, backed by a team that genuinely loves what they do. We are scaling fast across UK retail and US ecommerce, and we need sharp, driven people to grow with us.

The role of Social Media Coordinator

Glassworks is looking for a creative, commercially driven Social Media Coordinator to own Glassworks' social presence day-to-day. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing & PR, the successful applicant will create and produce content, run social shoots, manage scheduling and use social listening to keep Glassworks ahead of the conversation.

This is a hands-on production role for someone who lives and breathes social media, understands what performs and measures everything. If you are a natural content creator with a sharp eye for trends, a passion for fashion and a commercial mindset, this role is for you.

Responsibilities of the Social Media Coordinator:

  • Create and produce daily social media content across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts and Pinterest, maintaining a consistent brand tone of voice
  • Plan and run social shoots, working with the team to produce high-quality short-form video and photography content
  • Film and edit short-form video independently for day-to-day social, comfortable in front of and behind camera
  • Own social media scheduling across all platforms, working to BAU calendar standards without gaps or missed deadlines
  • Manage social listening across platforms, monitoring trends, competitor activity and cultural moments relevant to Glassworks and delivering regular insight reports
  • Track, analyse and report on social performance metrics monthly, using data to drive content decisions and improve results
  • Collaborate with the PR and Influencer Coordinator on creator briefs, ensuring influencer content aligns with the broader social strategy
  • Stay ahead of platform updates, algorithm changes and emerging trends to keep Glassworks' content competitive

What Glassworks is looking for:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a social media or content creation role
  • Native understanding of TikTok and Instagram Reels, you know what performs and why, and you have the numbers to prove it
  • Confident filming and editing skills for short-form video, comfortable in front of and behind the camera
  • Commercially minded, you think about social in terms of growth, traffic and revenue, not just likes
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage a high-volume content calendar without compromising on quality
  • Data-driven, you measure everything and use performance insight to improve your output
  • Experience in a social media or content creation role within fashion or a consumer brand is a plus
  • Experience with social listening tools is a plus

Key Performance Indicators of the Social Media Coordinator:

  • Performance in this role is measured against the following metrics, reviewed monthly:
  • Content output: consistent weekly delivery against BAU standards with no missed deadlines
  • Follower growth: month-on-month growth across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube Shorts
  • Engagement rate: likes, comments, saves and shares benchmarked against industry standards
  • Reach and impressions: overall and US-specific reach growth quarter on quarter
  • Social-attributed traffic: click-through to site from social platforms tracked via UTM parameters in GA4
  • Social listening output: monthly insight reports delivered on time with at least one recommendation adopted by the team per quarter

Glassworks Perks:

  • Direct access to senior leadership and genuine input into brand activity
  • Real career growth opportunity within a fast-scaling independent brand
  • Commission scheme
  • Pension scheme
  • Generous employee discount
  • Vibrant team culture
