You’ll be someone who is both comfortable working proactively and managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and BDO’s partners to help businesses effectively. You’ll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to organisations we work with.

Joining the Global Employer Services team, you will provide specialist reward and share scheme services to a varied client base. You will work alongside Directors and Partners to deliver tax compliance and advisory solutions, building strong client relationships and helping organisations manage their employee reward and equity programmes effectively.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Ability to advise on the tax treatment of share options and other forms of employee share ownership

• An in depth knowledge of EMI, ESS and knowledge of reward tax and related areas such as employment, NIC and capital gains tax etc

• Expertise on split interest, freezer and nil paid arrangements

• Experience in the preparation of share valuations and liaison with HMRC

• Staff management and mentoring experience

• Ability to profitably manage a client portfolio

• Demonstrable development of new clients and successful selling of new services to existing clients

• Awareness of accounting, employment law and company law implications of share incentives

• Experience of dealing direct with clients including agreement of fees

• Interest in the wider HR and human capital drivers and implications of reward

• Educated to degree level, and/or CTA and/or ATT/ACA qualified or equivalent
