Data Officer - Outstanding School - Wandsworth

About the Role
The Data Officer will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and security of all school data. You will produce reports, support senior leadership in decision-making, and maintain efficient systems for monitoring student progress and administrative functions.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing and maintaining school databases, ensuring data accuracy and security.
Producing reports and analysis for senior leadership, governors, and staff.
Supporting assessment tracking, attendance records, and student progress monitoring.
Ensuring compliance with GDPR and other data protection regulations.
Assisting with admissions, examinations, and reporting processes.
Providing guidance and training to staff on data systems and reporting tools.
Contributing to improvements in data management processes and reporting efficiency.
Experience and Qualifications
Previous experience in data management, administration, or a school environment.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and database systems.
Excellent attention to detail, organisational, and analytical skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
