Tender Specialist - HVDC Control & Protection (Glasgow)
- Deliver the bids for Control & Protection systems to our HVDC installations, ensuring that we follow process, meet tender deadlines and that we deliver with high levels of quality.
- Plan and communicate the needs of the tender to the HVDC Control and Protection management team.
- Represent Control & Protection during customer interactions where you drive discussions and negotiations.
- Monitor progress of tender deliverables and perform continuous follow-up on tender scope and time.
- Build and maintain a team culture of collaboration, accountability, trust and transparency. You hold a Bachelor or Master's degree within the relevant technical area.
- You have previous experience working with HVDC projects.
- Experience in design and testing of control system.
- You have a strong interest or skills within industrial application development and programming.
- automation, simulation and modelling procedures (real-time or offline) is also seen as an advantage in the role.
- You are structured, driven and like to continuously improve processes and come with new ideas.
- You should thrive in a position where you have the opportunity of creating networks, cherish human relations as well as working independently towards clear deadlines.
- Experience in project management and bid management. You are comfortable meeting customers and partaking in technical negotiations to support your team if needed.
- Knowledge on UK Gridcodes/standards is an advantage HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) is a product group in Hitachi Energy, which develops, manufactures and sells DC transmission systems on a global market.
