About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller to play a pivotal role in ensuring financial stability, control, and operational excellence across our global Finance function.
This role is ideal for a hands-on finance professional with strong technical expertise, who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys driving efficiency, accuracy, and collaboration.
You’ll work closely with the Group Financial Controller and regional finance teams to lead month-end and year-end processes, manage audits, and enhance reporting and control frameworks. You’ll also play an active part in shaping continuous improvement initiatives and supporting the wider finance transformation agenda.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Oversee statutory reporting and ensure compliance with IFRS and Group standards
- Manage and coordinate external audits, ensuring issues are addressed promptly
- Strengthen financial controls, governance, and balance sheet integrity
- Identify and deliver process improvements to drive efficiency and scalability
- Partner with FP&A and regional finance leads to ensure consistency and transparency in reporting
- Provide leadership, support, and direction to team members during the interim period
About You
You’ll be an experienced finance professional with a proven track record in financial control, audit, and reporting within a complex, multi-entity or multinational environment. You’ll bring both technical expertise and a pragmatic, delivery-focused approach to leadership.
Skills and Experience:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years’ post-qualified experience in financial control, reporting, or audit
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS, consolidation, and statutory reporting
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP
Desirable:
- Experience in private equity–backed or acquisitive environments.
- Exposure to finance transformation, integration, or system migration projects.
- Experience leading finance teams through periods of change or transition.
