Deputy Brasserie Manager
OXO Tower Brasserie is looking for a confident and driven Deputy Brasserie Manager to support the leadership of our front-of-house team on London’s iconic South Bank. With stunning views across the River Thames and a reputation for vibrant, modern brasserie dining, OXO Brasserie delivers exceptional service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining our outstanding standards while developing and inspiring a high-performing team.
About the role...
Support the day-to-day management of the Brasserie, taking full responsibility in the absence of the Brasserie Manager.
Lead and motivate the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional customer service and create memorable guest experiences.
Drive the success of the operation by maximising performance, efficiency, and profitability through effective team management.
Assist in recruiting, training, and developing team members up to Head Waiter level, ensuring a strong and capable service team.
Identify training needs and ensure high-quality, on-the-job coaching is consistently delivered and recorded.
Conduct performance reviews and support annual appraisals, recognising and rewarding outstanding contributions.
Ensure smooth and efficient daily operations, maintaining the high standards set by the OXO Tower Restaurant, Bar & Brasserie.
Communicate effectively across teams, maintaining clear and accurate information flow to support service and continuous improvement.
Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to align on menus, service flow, and opportunities to enhance the guest experience.
Oversee closing procedures, cash handling, and adherence to all financial controls and systems.
Maintain accurate records, including daily management logs, and ensure all systems are used effectively.
Ensure full compliance with licensing laws, company policies, and all health, safety, and food hygiene standards.
Create a safe and secure environment for guests, team members, and suppliers at all times.
Handle any team relations matters professionally, following disciplinary and grievance procedures where required.
Support a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement across the Brasserie.

Do you have previous management experience within a restaurant, brasserie, or similar high-volume venue?
Are you confident leading and developing a front-of-house team to deliver consistently high standards?
Do you bring energy, positivity, and a hands-on approach to every shift?
Are you an excellent communicator who builds strong working relationships across teams?
Do you have a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem solving?
Are you highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting?
Do you have a strong understanding of customer service excellence and what it takes to exceed guest expectations?
