Live-out Housekeeper
Live-out Housekeeper – Mayfair (Initial 12-Month Contract)
Our client, who owns a substantial 12-bedroom residence in Mayfair, is seeking a Live-out Housekeeper to join their established household team. This position is offered as an initial 12-month contract, with strong potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
This is an UHNW household, where you will work alongside a team of Housekeepers under the supervision of a Head Housekeeper. Although the property is not the client’s full-time residence, it is maintained to an impeccable, guest-ready standard at all times.
Working Schedule
- Hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm (with lunch break)
- Days: Monday to Friday
Salary: £45,000 gross per annum
Key Responsibilities
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- General housekeeping duties including cleaning, dusting, tidying, and organising
- Changing bed linen and towels
- Cleaning and care of household furniture, floors, surfaces, internal windows, and wood finishes
- Deep and high-level cleaning, including vacuuming curtains and upholstery
- Shared laundry and ironing to a high standard, including care of fine garments
- Maintaining flower displays throughout the residence
- Monitoring and reporting stock levels of cleaning and laundry supplies to the Head Housekeeper
- Assisting with additional ad hoc duties as required
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- A good command of spoken English - preferred
- Previous experience working within a high-calibre private household
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
- A friendly, respectful, and professional manner
- The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues while also using their own initiative
- Flexibility and an open-minded approach to household tasks
As the residence is maintained to an exceptionally high standard, previous experience working in a similar private household environment is essential.
