About the Role
As an Audit Assistant Manager , you will bridge the gap between the senior audit team and management. You'll lead audits from planning to completion, oversee junior teams, manage key client relationships, and develop your technical expertise across sectors including not-for-profit, digital media, property, and professional services .
You'll be joining a London-based audit team of 40, giving you the support of a well-structured, collaborative team while still having room to make a personal impact and progress your career.
Key Responsibilities
Lead moderate to complex audits, including group and specialist sector assignments
Prepare detailed audit testing plans and manage delivery against budgets
Review junior team members' work and provide coaching and mentoring
Act as the first point of contact for clients, resolving queries professionally
Deliver finalised audit files, accounts, and tax computations for managerial review
Build strong client relationships and ensure excellent service delivery
About You
ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
Experienced in managing audits from planning to completion
Confident communicator, client-facing and team-oriented
Strong technical knowledge of FRS 102 and audit methodology
Skilled at juggling multiple priorities and deadlines
Organised, driven, and a true team player
