Housekeeper in St John's Wood, Full-time role, Job ID J21E19
A family based in St John's Wood, North West London (Postcode: NW8), is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Full-Time Live-Out Housekeeper to maintain their home. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-end housekeeping, fine surface care, and meal preparation support. While there are no direct childcare duties, a child-friendly demeanor is important for when the family's grandchildren stay over. Additionally, candidates must be fond of dogs, as the children's dogs frequently visit the house.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00 (noting an initial training period from 12:00 to 20:00 with their current housekeeper), totaling 40 hours per week.
Duties include:
- handling ironing, laundry, and wardrobe care
- dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces, including specialized care for polished silverware and marble
- making beds and changing linens regularly
- performing routine floor care, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- executing deep cleaning of bathroom facilities and the kitchen area
- loading and unloading the dishwasher and maintaining an exceptionally clean environment throughout the residence supporting the family with meal preparation
- welcoming a dog-friendly environment for visiting family pets
