Your Role – Graduate Classroom Assistant | Maple Grove Primary

At Maple Grove, no two days are the same. You’ll work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 , supporting children in their learning and helping teachers bring lessons to life. Your responsibilities will include:

• Inspiring curiosity and keeping pupils engaged in class activities
• Running small intervention groups or one-to-one sessions
• Assisting with planning and classroom organisation
• Supporting children with additional needs, including SEN and EAL
• Helping pupils build resilience, confidence, and independence

Ideal Candidate - Graduate Classroom Assistant

The school is looking for someone who:

• Holds at least a 2:1 degree (subjects like Education, Psychology, or English are particularly relevant)
• Is patient, enthusiastic, and motivated to help children succeed
• Can adapt to different learning needs and bring energy to the classroom
• Has some experience with children (tutoring, volunteering, sports coaching, mentoring) – helpful but not essential
