Due to continual growth Red Sky is currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic or LCV Mechanic use to working on Transits and Sprinters to join a growing team of our client's state of the art Commercial HGV Workshop
We are seeking a HGV Commercial Technician / Commercial Truck Technician with HGV Technician experience with a passion for diagnosing and repairing complex faults, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues ensuring compliance with legislation and safety regulations.
Working our client, a highly established Automotive Commercial Truck Dealership Group are looking to recruit for a Commercial Technician / Commercial Truck Technician.
Working Monday to Friday 07:00-17:00 Saturdays and Sundays paid as overtime.
HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic
Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy goods vehicles (HGVs)
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
Repair or replace faulty parts and components
Test vehicles to ensure proper functionality
Complete service reports and maintain accurate records
Provide excellent customer service and address client inquiries
HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic Skills required
Proven experience as an HGV Technician or LCV Mechanic used to working on Transits and Sprinters
with at least 3-4 years recent expereince coupled with expertise in diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
Proficiency in software diagnosis and programming for commercial vehicles.
Strong mechanical aptitude and technical knowledge of HGVs
Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment-must have own tools
Ability to interpret technical manuals and diagrams - Excellent problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
