Burberry Planning Manager - Inventory Planning
- Own global and regional Open to Buy planning across full-price stores, digital, outlet and wholesale, ensuring inventory and productivity assumptions support commercial priorities.
- Develop a long-term global inventory strategy across the product lifecycle, translating financial and commercial objectives into clear plans.
- Prepare and present Open to Buy recommendations to senior leadership, communicating complex analysis in a clear and compelling way.
- Partner with Finance, Merchandising, regional teams, Replenishment and Supply Chain to align revenue, procurement, margin and inventory targets.
- Identify sales, margin and inventory risks, recommending rebalancing, markdown and delist actions that improve sell-through and reduce exposure.
- Lead, coach and develop a Planner while encouraging collaboration, knowledge sharing and talent development across the planning community.
- Substantial experience in global inventory or merchandise planning, with responsibility for complex commercial plans across multiple regions or channels.
- Strong knowledge of Open to Buy management, inventory productivity, stock turn, margin planning and forecasting.
- Confident communication and presentation skills, with the ability to turn detailed analysis into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to build effective relationships across Finance, Merchandising, Planning, Replenishment and Supply Chain.
- Sound judgement, analytical capability and close attention to detail, combined with a practical approach to solving business challenges.
- Experience supporting the development of others and creating an inclusive, accountable and forward-thinking team environment.
