Role Summary and Impact

Key Responsibilities

Channel Execution & Best Practices

  • Oversee the deployment of Nestlé’s Digital Execution Standards across Search, Social, and Programmatic, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across all markets.
  • Lead a team of Channel Specialist Directors to drive performance, innovation, and alignment with global digital strategy.
  • Continuously refine and enhance digital activation processes, leveraging automation and technology to improve efficiency and outcomes.

Data-Driven Media & Platform Integration

  • Lead the acceleration of 1st Party Data (1PD) integration into biddable media platforms, ensuring strategic alignment with broader marketing objectives.
  • Collaborate with data, analytics, and media teams to develop a seamless approach to data-driven marketing execution.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations while maximizing the effectiveness of Nestlé’s data assets in media activation.

Joint Business Plan (JBP) Execution

  • Manage tactical JBP actions with platform partners, working closely with markets and zones to implement initiatives that optimize investment efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure JBP-driven tests and pilots are aligned with Nestlé’s digital strategy, delivering measurable business impact.
  • Track and report on JBP outcomes, ensuring continuous improvement in platform partnerships and execution strategies.

Channel Maturity & Development Programs

  • Co-own and drive key channel development programs such as Programmatic Principles and Holistic Search Strategy, ensuring Nestlé maintains a leadership position in digital media execution.
  • Work with internal teams, agencies, and platforms to evolve best practices and enhance digital maturity across markets.
  • Identify emerging trends and technologies that can further advance Nestlé’s digital media strategy.

Global Learning Agenda & Test-and-Learn Leadership

  • Define and manage the global learning agenda, ensuring a structured approach to experimentation, knowledge sharing, and performance optimization.
  • Lead test-and-learn initiatives across markets, incorporating JBP-driven tests, bespoke solutions, and third-party opportunities to drive innovation.
  • Scale successful test outcomes globally, ensuring that learnings translate into actionable improvements in media execution.

Strategic Media Leadership & Business Support

  • Act as a subject matter expert in biddable media, advising on key areas such as media principles, NDRP compliance, and platform governance.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to align digital execution strategies with broader business and marketing objectives.
  • Provide thought leadership on industry trends, ensuring Nestlé remains at the forefront of digital media innovation.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience in biddable media execution within a large-scale organization or agency environment.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing teams and driving digital transformation.
  • Strong expertise in data-driven marketing, including the integration of 1st Party Data (1PD) into digital platforms.
  • Experience working with platform partners and managing Joint Business Plans (JBPs) at a strategic and executional level.
  • Deep understanding of channel maturity models, test-and-learn frameworks, and digital media best practices.
  • Ability to collaborate across markets, teams, and stakeholders, driving alignment and execution at a global scale.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate insights into strategic action.
