Are you a part-qualified accountant ready to take the next step in your practice career? We're working with a leading, accountancy firm that's looking for a proactive and driven Accounts Semi Senior to join their growing Business Services team.

This role offers structured development, hands-on client exposure, and a clear path toward qualification in a highly supportive and forward-thinking environment.

What you will be doing as an Accounts Semi Senior

• Preparing financial statements in line with FRS 102/105
• Drafting management accounts and VAT returns
• Ensuring accurate and timely compliance with accounting standards and HMRC requirements
• Managing task deadlines and keeping work within budget
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members on client work
• Liaising with clients to provide updates and basic accounting advice

What you will need to succeed as an Accounts Semi Senior

• ?Part-qualified ACA / ACCA / ICAS or equivalent (actively studying)
• 1-2 years of UK practice experience
• Good understanding of financial reporting standards (FRS 102 / 105)
• Solid VAT knowledge and hands-on experience with returns
• Strong attention to detail and deadline awareness
• Excellent communication skills and a team-focused approach
• Experience preparing financial statements for SMEs is advantageous
