We are seeking a Professional Indemnity Senior Claims Handler to join our team at Caytons a Gallagher Bassett company.
This role is pivotal in ensuring claims are handled efficiently, economically, and in alignment with service standards.
The successful candidate will contribute to Caytons Claims' reputation as a market-leading TPA claims function by delivering excellent service and maintaining high-quality standards.
This opportunity offers both hybrid and remote working options.
How you'll make an impact- Investigate and develop strategies to resolve claims promptly and cost-effectively.
- Adhere to departmental SLA’s and KPI’s, ensuring service levels are consistently met.
- Provide guidance and support to Claims Handlers and Assistants.
- Review policy coverage and liaise with panel solicitors as needed.
- Ensure insurer clients’ claims and reserving philosophies are consistently applied.
- Take a proactive approach to investigation, ADR, and negotiation to minimise litigation.
- Report and refer individual matters to insurer clients as required.
- Identify claim trends and ensure the quality and integrity of Management Information (MI).
- Experience in a similar role; insurance/legal qualifications are desirable.
- Strong technical Professional Indemnity claims experience and product knowledge.
- Customer/client-focused with a proven track record of delivering results.
- Comprehensive business, industry, and market knowledge.
- High attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work under tight deadlines.
